SOLD
2001 Xplorer Xcursion 25 ft Diesel Motorhome with 130k miles on the Dodge Ram 3500 cab a chassis. It is 2wd but since it's a C&C truck swapping in a 4wd front axle and transferase is a bolt in project (no cutting or welding required), 3 burner stove, 3 in 1 combination microwave oven, oven and convection oven, Outdoor shower, Max air fan, Jack knife sofa, AC & furnace. All the common second gen Cummins mechanical issues have been fixed including after-market lift pump, ground wiring issues addressed and transmission including torque converter have been upgraded. There was very few of these made and with the fiberglass clamshell exterior and aluminum framing they are very well constructed and will last a lifetime.
The good:
-Front cab over has been completely remodeled including a new sleep number queen RV bed.
-12V TV with built in DVD player.
-Torque converter and transmission upgraded $3000
-Brand New BD Diesel Exhaust brake and BD torque lock transmission controller $1800
-Quadzilla Adrenaline Tuner with gauge monitor $600
-Airdog 100GPH lift pump with high capacity filters $700
-Brand New Cummins 3600 watt LPG Generator (less than 15 hours on it) - $4500
-Two 160 Watt Solar Panels $400
-Blue Sky 30 amp MPPT solar charge controller $150
-Two 100 amp hour deep cycle AGM house batteries relocated to inside $400
-All interior lighting replaced with LED
-The LPG fridge has been upgraded with a 10 cubic feet 120 volt fridge that can run off shore power or a 2000 watt inverter $650
-New 32 amp progressive dynamics power converter retrofitted to replace the original converter $300
-New brakes front and rear including new rear axle seals 2K miles ago
The bad:
The camper was originally from Florida so the outside shows signs of fading from the sun. Structurally everything is still good.
We began remodeling with the front cab over. The rest of the interior is original and functional but dated. Included is enough of the cedar wood paneling on the roof of the cabover section to finish the rest of the ceiling.
-The previous owner removed the dinette, we used the space for a pack and play and extra storage.
-The AC in the truck has a small leak and needs to be recharged once a year.
-The dashboard is cracking which is a common 2nd gen Dodge issue.
I purchased this camper about 6 years ago and it was completely original when I bought it. All the upgrades listed have been completed in the last 6 years and 30K miles. Easily flat tow's our 3rd gen 4Runner. Not really sure where to price this since there are so few to compare against. $30K obo
