Hi everybody, I was forced to replace my trusty Xterra with a truck, so its time she goes. This is probably the best car I have ever owned so far, here's a little info. I am the third owner, the first 2 were older guys who only used the truck as a family soccer van in the central valley. I have meticulously maintained this truck and it is in good condition. I will list everything I've done below. It has a clean and clear title, passes California SMOG, has no rust, and everything works. I am replacing it because I need a truck and not an SUV, that's the only reason. It has a tow hitch, supercharger, bluetooth stereo, the AC blows cold, and the 4wd works incredibly. It even has the stock roof racks and roof basket. I put on mostly highway miles, but I live in the mountains so I use the 4wd for snow. Its been on many forest roads but never any serious off roading. I've written down all the work I've done over the years. Amazing adventure vehicle.
The bad:
I didnt have time to clean it real well yet so the carpets/seats are a little dirty. I have the stock floor mats, but didnt use them because they are dirty. (the actual interior carpet is not)
Driver seat is a little worn looking but not torn or damaged. (I used seat covers)
Passenger window rolls up slower then the driver, but works and seals fine.
The passenger taillight is cracked in the corner.
Will need brake pads within a year.
Small crack in far upper corner of windshield.
What I've done:
-Normal maintenece (tires, filters, wipers, align, fluids, etc.)
-Oil change about every 5k
-Replaced shocks
-New belts (including timing!)
-Replaced both front calipers assemblies
- Water pump
- Idler bearing
-New headlights
-Spark plugs
-Thermostat
-Psngr exhaust manifold
-Both catalytic converters
-New oversized radiator
-New power steering pump
-New distributor
-New mass airflow sensor
