SOLD

I in Reston VA
best way to contact me is via the CL ad just so that I don't have to monitor too many media outlets
https://washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/cto/d/reston-2003-toyota-tundra-access-cab/6878503510.html

IMHO this is the most overlooked 4x4 pickup out there and so can be had at a great price relative to trucks like the Tacoma. Great overland platform potential.
I know that I will regret selling this truck but here goes...
2003 Tundra Access Cab
4.7L V8
4x4
Automatic Transmission
Only the Cab and power-train are from 2003 though.
Please go drive a few other Tundra's first then you will really know that this one is special. There is not another one as clean as this...probably in the country because...
In 2017-18 the Frame was swapped out by Toyota under their frame recall program. In addition to a new frame it got brand new:
Timing Belt / Radiator /water pump/drive belts
Rack & pinion steering
Brake lines
Fuel tank bands
Spring shackles
front lower control arms
load sensing brake proportioning valves
spare tire assembly
A/C compressor brackets & a/c flush
Timing tensioners
Front brakes / calipers / rotors
Transmission flush (B&G)
Front and rear diffs serviced
Catalytic converter

In addition I have added:
Heated driver seat
Blaupunkt head unit with Bluetooth
Bed cover
center console security vault
Running boards
front engine skid plate
Front tow hitch
2018 4Runner wheels with Faulkin Wildpeak AT tires (less than 1 year old with under 1000 miles on them)

Don't let the 214k on the odometer scare you for a second.
EVERYTHING works flawlessly. Runs & shifts like new. 4x4 functions flawlessly. I would drive this to California tomorrow with zero hesitation. This is essentially a 2003 cab and power-train sitting on a 2017 frame and...everything else. The power-trains in these last forever (look up the 500k and million mile clubs that are out there)

If the ad is still up then I still have it.
Scammers - go for it. I love wasting your time and will string you along for days!

Did I price this too low? If so...What is a more reasonable ask for this truck?
You know if you're happy with that price, then it's a win/win for you and your eventual buyer.

I don't know the market in Virginia either; I'm just saying if you were anywhere on the west coast you'd already have a bidding war on your hands.

Your price is fair. I sold my 2002 for ~5500 and it was a 2wd with far fewer gadgets and didn't have all the new stuff.

Crazy that we live in a time where a 16 y/o truck with over 200k on the clock sells for $$$. Seems like not too long in the past when 10 years old and over 100k was the end of a vehicles value
