SOLD-SOLD -SOL
For Sale 2004 BigFoot 25B21 RB
SOLD $24,500 SOLD
Meticulously Maintained, Turn-Key, 4 Season Trailer (Insulated Windows, Heated Tanks, ect).
At 21 feet, this is the perfect size for many of the National Parks as they limit the size of trailer and tow rigs.
Located in Lake Tahoe, California.
We purchased the unit in the fall of 2020. We had planned on keeping the trailer forever but we are now moving out of the county and cannot ship it overseas. House and Tow Vehicle will be for sale in the fall prior to move.
Us, along with the prior owners (We purchased the trailer from a Big Foot Owners Group member) believed in preventive maintenance and keeping the trailer in top shape.
2023 New Propane Alarm
2023 Bearings repacked, new brake magnets, new brake wiring and 7 way plug
2023 New 100AH AGM Battery

2021 New Kitchen Faucet
2021 New Digital Thermostat
2021 Bearing repacked & new seals
2020 Seal Test done and roof resealed
2019 New Awning
2019 New tires, full scrape and reseal
I have lots more records, these are just the recent highlights. Happy to share/email receipts.
Roof top solar.
Comes with Solar on the roof. It will run: lights, charges phone/ipad via USB, water pump, heater and Fridge (in conjunction with Gas), and Jack. We do not have an inverter so the current setup will NOT run the 120v outlets via solar. All outlets (12V) and electrical runs when unit plugged into shore power.
Has a Tracvision by KVH Industries roof mounted satellite (we have never used so I can not vary how or if this works).
Price includes:

We have removed and stored the valances around the interior shades along with the curtain frame that goes around the bed, and all parts will go with the unit. We felt that this slight modification added to enhancing the feeling of space.
Things to Note:
I am NOT a professional RV inspector and have only owned one trailer, this one. When we purchased the trailer we benefited from a wonderful description of the unit prior to driving 800 miles each way to purchase it. I would like to do the same for the next owner and will try to answer any answer questions one might have.
Tires will hit the 5 year mark in 2024.
Propane Tanks will also hit the 10 year mark in 2024.
One shelf in the fridge has a crack. This is the one on the door. We have made a repair and it works fine for us. Never felt the need to explore the availability of a replacement part.
Typical window seal “creep” and wallpaper wrinkles near some windows. Much has been written about it online. It only affects look not the function.
Prior own installed homemade blackout curtains in bed area. They glued Velcro to the walls and the glue job was a bit sloppy.
Stove igniter doesn’t work. I’m sure it could be fixed but a long lighter worked fine for us.
Outside, Decals have faded.
The shade for the skylight isn’t in the best shape. We use a piece of reflective material regardless because it keeps the heat out.
Why selling?
We are moving out of the country and over the ocean so it’s not feasible to bring the trailer with us.
Regarding the price. $24,500
I have been watching prices here for the past several years. I believe the unit is priced well within the range, taking into the options, the condition along with maintenance of the trailer. If you would like to make an offer, or discuss further, feel free to reach out to me directly. If you just want to throw bombs and disparage the price with no intention of buying, that move has been done to other posters here and doesn’t help anyone.
Can my Jeep Cj, Prius or Ford Ranger Tow it?
Can and Should are two very different things. Much has been written online on what is the best tow vehicle for this rig.
Fully loaded (for us, your weight may differ) the trailer weights 5,060 lbs.
This is for a 7 day trip off the grid.
Full water tank, empty black and grey. Clothing for 2 adults & 1 child. 7 days worth of food. 2 large canvas tote bags of books, games, minor tools, water hose & filter, chalks, 2 full propane tanks, solar on the roof. NO TV. Cookware ( we come from tent camping so not a crazy amount but comfortable) We have a spare tire on the rear of the trailer.
To know if your tow rig can SAFLY pull the trailer, find out your Gross Combination Weight Rating (GCWR) and the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) on the truck. Just knowing how much weight your vehicle can tow is only half the story. Its recommend to have 15% tongue weight, and this weight will transfer onto the tow rig. So in our case that is 750-800lbs that is transferred onto the truck. One then needs to make sure that the tow rig can handle the extra weight along with the weight of the passengers.
