Location: Escondido, California, USA (San Diego County)
Mileage: 101K

Asking $11,000. We love this truck and hate to part with it, but it just doesn’t fit our growing family and two car seats.

Original (non-smoking) owners. Title is clean and clear. Steering still tight and responsive, as is braking and acceleration.

This 2WD truck may seem out of place on Expedition Portal, but even these are still hugely capable. We’d like to see an enthusiast end up with it, not some random person browsing AutoT***er or something.

Description and Features:
  • 4.0L V6, 5-speed automatic transmission, cruise control, AC, power windows, power locks w/ remote, power mirrors
  • 2WD PreRunner package
  • TRD Sport package (body-colored grille, bumpers, door handles, and mirrors; Bilstein shocks/struts, hood with scoop, A/C inverter in the bed, bed rails with cleats, 17" wheels)
  • 6-foot bed
  • Tow package (includes aux cooler)
  • OEM all-weather floor mats
  • Westin tube steps
  • Added DRL module
  • Kenwood KDC-BT958HD audio unit with Bluetooth, USB, and 3.5mm aux inputs (OEM unit still works and will be included)
  • All four bed cleats included, two include Toyota’s OEM bike clamps

Repairs / Maintenance:
  • Service records available.
  • Serviced in Jan 2019 (101K) — replaced spark plugs, serviced rear diff, flushed and refilled cooling system; no other issues detected
  • Firestone Destination LE2 tires installed Feb 2018 (95K mi, 6K on them)
  • Interstate 42-mo battery purchased from Costco in Jan 2018
  • Addressed several recalls/TSBs in Nov 2016 (88K mi) — rear leaf springs replaced, front driver and passenger seat belt assembly parts replaced, spiral cable assembly replaced.
  • Aftermarket starter installed Oct 2014 (74K mi)

Known Issues:
Although everything on this 14-year old truck is in very good condition overall, there are some notable issues.
  • 2–3 inch gouge through paint in hood above driver’s headlight
  • Clear coat failing in spots — worst on roof, but also visible on hood, fender flares, and right below door windows
  • Mildew spots in headlight housing — these are cosmetic and don’t appear to be on any functionally reflective surfaces
  • Seat shows wear from entry/exit
  • Although there’s a full-sized spare, it’s on a steel wheel and dates back to vehicle purchase

I thought perhaps there could be interest in a 2WD Tacoma, but maybe I'm mistaken.

Constructive feedback from the community would be appreciated.

KBB puts this at 8k-11k in very good condition for my area, seems like your gonna need to come down on price significantly if you want it to move.
Thanks. I made the mistake of pricing by comparing to similar trucks on Autotrader. Edited to reflect KBB in my area.
