Overview:
I am selling my 2006 Ford E-350 diesel 4-wheel drive (4x4) extended body Ford Van that currently has 162,423 miles; however, I do drive it from time to time so miles may vary. I am the third owner and have put about 30K miles on it, previous owner (Montana) about 30K miles as well. The first owner (California) installed an upgraded EGR "bullet proof" oil cooler and ARP head studs with new gaskets at a professional diesel shop in California around 2012 (I have a copy of this invoice/documentation). The 4x4 conversion was done by Quigley 4x4 in 2006 and I have the parts list and other documentation from that conversion as well. The interior conversion was original completed by El Kapitan in 2006. (I have a copy of the El Kapitan invoice for verification).
The van runs and drives great and has been a reliable, super solid, fun, all season rig taking me into the Colorado mountains in the dead of winter, throughout the desert south west in the middle of summer and even remote locations up and down Baja Mexico including a trip to Cabo San Lucas. When I purchased it, I removed the 12 seats from the rear and installed two new reclining Honda Odyssey seats on swiveling bases behind the front captain’s chairs and built a queen bed size wood platform in the very back to optimize storage space underneath (two feet of vertical space under for stackable bins) but still have a place to sleep and store clothes etc. The platform can easily be removed. Last year I had the front two captain’s chairs re-upholstered to match the rear seats and new foam installed.
This is a solid rig and I have been very pro-active in servicing the van to make sure it is super reliable and as trouble free as possible. If new parts were being used, they are always factory OEM and/or Motorcraft replacements. I have never had an issue with the 6.0 diesel and besides wear and tear items (hoses, belts etc) it has been a true work horse. The van recently passed required diesel emissions here in Colorado (October 2020). I have included some of the more recent and highlighted service items below, I have most of the service records dating back to the first owner as well that will of course go with the sale of the van.
