Nice. Why selling?

We bought it last June with the idea of hauling this to our favorite camp sites and such. We did this a few times and then this winter I bought a roof top tent and as soon as the weather broke, I started using it a lot more than what I thought I would. I’m getting addicted to the RTT and to be honest, the FJ isn’t that great at hauling even though this trailer is so light. I think it’s the short wheelbase. I think a 4Runner would do better but I am not willing to change vehicles but am willing to change the camping setup. It’s in excellent condition. It’s tons of fun, you get tons of questions about it everywhere you go, and the setup is super convenient. Great battery system, kitchen, and awning room setup are so nice. You can wake up and walk right out into a private annex and starting cooking breakfast. As I’m typing this, I’m talking myself into not selling. Ha!

Yes It is a great design. I used to have one and it was great.
A FJ should be able to tow it without any issue. Do you have enough tongue weight on it ?

I’ve got it packed pretty even. I have years of experience hauling masonry trailers and distributing weight evenly. I just don’t feel the FJ pulls it very well. I don’t think the FJ pulls anything very well in general. This camper is in like new condition. It would make someone very happy and they could save a trip, dealing with the terrible dealers, and save some money

I towed mine behind my FJ60 and I never knew it was back there. I really liked the fact I could sit up inside it. Unfortunately that trailer was not designed for rough roads.

It is definitely not an expedition trailer meant to go across the globe but it is an excellent camper trailer for those who want to boondock a bit or hit the open road in the US. The FJ60 has a longer wheelbase and a lot more low end power for hauling.

Hi, shopping for a TM and I you have a nice one. Your trailer is more than I can afford at this time. Mostly because of the extras your Taxa has. I wish we could exclude the ARB awning room, the whole solar set up and the extra battery from the sale to make it more affordable for me. I’ll keep my eye on this listing as you might change it up. Thanks and happy camping. Sid

We might be able to work something out actually. Send me a PM. Let me know what price range you’re in.
