AluCab Gen 3 Expedition Rooftop Tent for sale
Price: $2750.

Description: The AluCab Gen 3 is an excellent hard shell RTT. If you are not familiar with the AluCab tent, it is a wedge shaped, aluminum hard shell RTT with a very comfortable mattress and excellent tent fabric.
There is closed cell foam insulation on roof as well as under the mattress.
6 storage pockets inside
There are 3 points of entry- rear door and a side window on each side. The rear entry door has an awning for entry when it is raining. Additional coverings for side doors are available from AluCab dealers.
It has cargo rail on top which allow you to add load bars (not included).
There is a gray Anderson plug on bottom of shell which allows you to connect in order to provide power to 2 USB plugs as well as a 12 volt plug
There is an inside LED light, but ours never worked and since we didn’t need it we never investigated the cause.
Very comfortable 75mm mattress- clean. The owners had no pets and were non-smokers.
There is a quick release ladder which attaches to the rear of the RTT. There is also an additional bracket which I have left inside the tent which would allow you to use on one of the sides if you wanted to do so.
The ladder, while not wide, is strong and light. We really enjoyed how it attached to the tent and felt very secure. Please note, we did shorten the ladder by one rung for a better fit on our vehicle (see photo- length is 70 inches). The bottom of area we removed does have the end cap and looks very good (see photo).
There is a small scrape on the right rear of the RTT (see photo)- as you can see from the photo it is only cosmetic, and very minor at that.
There are 4 brackets for mounting (photo shows a close up of one— please note, the black rails under each bracket were just there to keep the RTT and its mounting brackets off the cement and these rails are not included).
