Hey everyone, the time has come to sell my off-road trailer. Trailer has served me well over the last 3 1/2 years. Trailer started out as a 2016 Carry-On 3.5ft x 5ft utility trailer that I modified to fit my needs. Estimated weight of trailer empty is around 700lbs (allows for 400-500lbs of gear).
Suspension was designed for trailer to articulate on the trail which why I went with Old Man Emu Leaf springs for a Suzuki Samurai along with hangers, shackles and Procomp shocks. 3500lb Dexter axle with 61.5" hub face to hub face width and 5 on 4.5 bolt pattern. Currently have 1.5" 5 on 4.5" to 5 on 5" adapters to run the JK Moab wheels.
Trailer tub is 42" wide, 60" long and 16" tall. Overall width with tires is 72". Full length 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" triangulated tongue in the front with receiver hitch in the rear
Lock N Roll articulating hitch and coupler. Adjustable tongue allows the trailer to be 9'1" 9'7" 10'7" or 12'1" overall length. 2.75 cubic ft tongue storage box has lift strut, lockable and weather stripping on the lid to keep dust and debris out.
Trailer ride height: 23 1/2" from ground to bottom of tongue. Removable tongue jack along with jacks on either corner on back of trailer. Helps to level trailer out and allows trailer to be disconnected from tow vehicle. Jacks fit in tongue box with plenty room left for more gear, batteries, etc or can be left attached to trailer. I have brand new LED trailer lights and running lights that I will be installing soon.
Buyer can choose which set of tires go with the trailer. 34x10.50 r17 KO2's with 90% tread left or 315/70/r17 KO2's (34.6x11.6) one tire has 95% tread left and the other about 40% tread with uneven wear. All driveway pics of the trailer are with 34's mounted. Trailer is 1/2" taller with the 315's mounted on them. I have an additional wheel that the buyer can have.
Trailer will come with 2 different style rtt/load bars. Style 1 keeps tent mounted 2.5" off top rail of trailer (42" off ground)Style 2 keeps tent 7 1/2" off top rail (47" off ground) and has an adjustable awning bracket
GEO Adventure Gear GT140 RTT Purchased this tent 3 years ago and it has been great. Tent has been stored inside when not in use. Tent is in and great shape and doesn't leak a drop, recently camped in 3 days of near constant rain and it stayed dry the entire time. Optional Awning and Awning RoomHave an older style ARB 2000 awning (6.5ft x 6.5ft) and awning room that can sell for an additional $350. Awning room has enough room for a full size mattress plus gear for 2 people. It's also perfect for setting up a small table and some chairs to stay dry and out of the rain.
