2014 FOUR WHEEL CAMPER, FINCH MODEL: Built in March 2014.
Original owner selling a lightly used and well cared for camper. We love this camper but we need a little more space. The camper is in very good condition; there still is a “new” camper smell, no other funky odors. We’ve endured rain, snow, and heat and this camper has been great in all conditions.
In such a small camper with little floor space, the flush mount stove / sink are essential in creating usable space when not used and in staying organized. We opted not to install the roll over couch, we felt the camper is too small to have an additional bed which eliminates all floor space when folded down. Try stepping down from the upper bunk in the middle of the night, onto whomever is sleeping there, if you want to get dirty looks over breakfast.
We created a custom interior that adds storage, creates a mini-dinette not available from the factory, and manages to preserve a large amount of floor space. The dinette is created by installing a Lagun table; it is one of the most important features as it can be raised, swiveled, and adjusted to easily accommodate three people “dining” indoors. The table can be completely removed by simply sliding it off the mounting plate…these tables are fantastic and well-built. If you’re unfamiliar with the Lagun table, I urge you to watch this video demonstration of its use: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UAjLjp9hG_E
A custom bench has been built where the rollover couch would be, creating an L-shaped area that can sit four people comfortably, while still allowing access to the fridge, stove, sink, and electrical accessories (power, usb charging stations, furnace controls, water and battery level indicators, etc.). This arrangement is essential when the weather chases you indoors and you still want to cook or entertain the kids. We added substantial storage under the bench and there is room for a child to sleep on the bench. Access to the internal mounting system is preserved.
A custom corner cabinet adds additional storage in the rear of the camper
If you’re not too familiar with pop-up campers, I will gladly discuss how we use our camper and what was worth getting installed and what may not be used, but I highly recommend doing some research on camper options and owner experiences. This thread is a good place to start: http://www.wanderthewest.com/forum/topic/10247-buyers-regret/
I attached a link to photos showing the general condition and features, I will send additional photos as requested via private message. Thanks for looking.
