EarthCruiser MOD 300 Camper

Since the family has been staying busy with other activities and it looks like this is going to be the case for the foreseeable future we have decided to sell our EarthCruiser MOD 300 camper. The whole package, truck & camper is listed in the Vehicle section. (The truck was built up by the experts at EarthCruiser for this camper.)

MOD (My Own Design) line of campers is along the lines of a design that’s simple, modular & easily configurable. There is 80/20 T-track throughout the interior that can be used to easily build and configure the camper in a form of your choosing. We set this up in a configuration with a layout that is similar to the EarthCruiser GZL campers.

Price: $28,000
Location: Peosta, Iowa (Driftless tri-state region of Iowa, Wisconsin & Illinois)

EarthCruiser MOD 300 Camper:
  • Insulated one-piece composite shell

Oooh, I've always liked these. I was talking to Earthcruiser about one of the last ones they had on-hand when things got all COVID-complicated.

One question I haven't been able to answer yet - can you comment on how much the flip-over upper bunk covers the lower bunk? And how much overhead room there is? (if one were to set it for a 3rd person). I'm trying to get a sense of how much like sleeping in a coffin it would be if we tried to use a camper like this with our daughter.

Ahh, that’s a great question as we were also concerned about how much room we would have on the lower platform. The lower platform is 65.5” wide (east-west) by 34.75” in the vehicle forward to back direction. There is 21” from the top of the lower platform to the bottom of the upper platform. The upper platform is 50” wide and overhangs the lower platform in the forward-back direction by 27.5”. My daughter seems to like sleeping on the lower platform and my wife tells me that when it’s just her & my daughter that she likes to sleep on the lower platform. For me, I’m 5’8”, it’s a bit cozy as I have to lay at a slight angle from east-west direction. And I’ll also add that our dog loves to sleep in the space under the lower platform.
