So, I sold the Suburban (which I had a thread on here previously about) and moved on to a Tahoe. I freak'n love my Tahoe.
Here's how it looked when I got it.
Almost immediately I got to work debadging and detrimming it.
Then ran up to the old man's to get a thorough detail. It's what he does.
All clean!
The wheels had to go... so I found a set of the silver painted fleet wheels. I had them powder coated black and replaced the gray center caps with new GM chrome ones.
To continue with the black and white theme, I scored a set of tails from a 2006. Since the 2001 tails had red borders, these look sharper.
Now, I needs some tunes! I added a Kenwood video deck, Kenwood amp, Kenwood subs, and Kenwood speakers all around.
Gotta protect the beats from my gear.
(No, I haven't detailed the interior yet.)
I then added a Troy Command Console (replacing the OE plastic console) with a Federal Signal SS2000SM, a Motorola CDM1250 radio, and a Cobra 400watt Inverter.
I also installed an iPad3 with a RAM Mount.
I then went down to Rack Attack in Portland and got a Yakima MegaWarrior with the extension and rear light brackets.
The front light brackets I got from ReRack (new) and I had TAP Plastics make me a clear fairing to mount LEDs behind.
In the back of the rack I isntalled a Whelen D10 LED Dominator I custom built.
Here's how it's looking today.
I have a bunch more goodies currently on the way, so as soon as the delivery trucks start arriving I will get it installed and update my post. :victory:
