I am selling a brand new, in box black James Baroud Discovery Extreme tent.

This is a warranty replacement (originally purchased summer 2016) I received this replacement due to a bad batch of tents in produced in 2016 that had fabric that was too tight making fastening the Velcro to seal the tent doors impossible.
This issue was noticed immediately but without previous RTT experience, we thought it was just us being particular. Once I complained to our vendor, (not Adventure Ready) they confirmed this was not normal and a bad batch and would be replaced under warranty . Unfortunately they lost their JB contract and stopped communicating with us. Finally out of frustration after almost a year of limited contact with the vendor I contacted JB directly and they put me onto Tom at Adventure Ready to help take care of the warranty of the tent.
Due to the wait in getting a replacement tent and over landing commitment we decided to purchase a new tent (AluCab) and sell this when it arrived. We keep our GoldenDoodle in the tent, so the additional length of the AluCab is helpful. The tent can be picked up at Adventure Ready in north Seattle.
Warranty is approximately 3.5 years from June 1, 2019. I highly doubt warranty will ever be needed. The tight fabric issue was a freak issue and the tent build quality is excellent. It is absolutely better engineered than the AluCab tent. Let’s face it, that Jame Baroud’s warranty is second to none. They replaced the entire tent!
