I just sold the Grandby camper off the back of this truck, and figure folks might want a chance at it here. Eyebolts still installed. It's a great truck for a camper. It levels out and rides well for its size/age with a Four Wheel Camper on it. Lots and lots of maintenance to make this a good travel rig, hope someone can enjoy it as such. I don't want this to become some beater truck for hauling cardboard!
1994 Ford F350 XLT 4x4 Crew Cab Long Bed
163k miles
7.5L/460 EFI Gas Engine
Automatic Transmission
Cruise Control
Prime Wheels w/ 285/75R-16 tires
JVC Stereo w/ Sony Speakers & Slim Subwoofer
I purchased it in Livermore from the long-term second owner in 2017, for use on a summer road trip. It carried a lightweight camper (Four Wheel Camper Grandby) for 10k miles around the western states. Previous owner used it for yard duty and pulling a boat for summer vacation. Overall, light use but would make an equally good work or play truck. Would not hesitate to drive it another 10k tomorrow. Just did San Diego and back in a weekend with zero issues, got 11 mpg average which is great for these 460 engines. Moving overseas so need to sell otherwise I'd keep it for next summer.
Had the following maintenance in the past year to make it bulletproof:
* Braking system: master cylinder, calipers, rotors, pads, drum shoes, lines etc
* Cooling system: water pump, radiator, hoses, fan clutch
* AC system: ac compressor, recharge, misc
* Steering system: power steering pump, alignment, steering box (previous owner did steering column and ball joints)
* Electrical system: Spark plugs, wires, rotor/distributor camp, 130amp 3g alternator
* Fluids: coolant flushed, new brake fluid, power steering fluid, AC charge. Oil changed every 3k, done recently.
Previous owner stated that the transmission was rebuilt during his ownership.
Price of recent maintenance alone was more than my price, which is $4500 (price drop from $6500). Lesson learned, don't buy an old truck like this without comprehensive maintenance. This one is ready to go. Clean title in my name, smogged.
