Mario and Martyn are in the process of building a new teardrop for me. The new teardrop includes a permanently installed Propex heater. I will no longer need my portable tent heater that I used with my Chaser.
Sooo......I have an AT Overland Equipment Portable Propex Heater for sale.
This unit was purchased in September 2011 for a late fall Kansas pheasant hunt. The unit was only used for this 5 day trip. (sure glad we had it along.... we had a couple of very cold mornings) The heater worked great. We used it mostly to heat up the tent before going to bed at night and again in the morning to take the edge off the cold tent before rolling out of our sleeping bags.
Included is a return air hose for the heater. This hose attaches, via friction fit, to the return air side of the heater. This allows you to pull the preheated air from the tent and run it back into the heater, to be reheated, instead of using outside cold air. I feel reheating the moist air from the tent is more efficient and tends to reduce the amount of moisture in the tent. Similar to a forced air heating system found in most homes.
The unit is in very good condition and is ready to ship. The heater stays inside the Chaser when not in use...the Chaser lives in the garage when idle. The price is $1675, plus shipping from the Kansas City area. This price is firm.
Here are some photos of the unit:
Here's a photo of everything that is included (sorry...concrete, dirt , umbrella base, and patio furniture not included.
)
Feel free to ask questions here or send a PM if interested.
