SOLD!

I recently upgraded to a James Baroud tent so I am selling my Tepui Kukenam XL Ruggedized. It was only used for one season. I upgraded all the hardware to stainless steel. The hinge bolts were replaced with rounded hex bolts and filed so they don't catch the fabric. I also added nylon washers. I added a 1.5" memory foam topper to the mattress. I replaced the ladder mounts with quick release blocks/pins. The cover is a little beat up and needs to be replaced. I can throw on a new black cover for you, or you can buy as is and choose your own color cover. The rest of the tent is in perfect brand new condition, no tears or stains or anything. The zippers are perfect, the stitching is perfect, the mattress smells new, etc etc.

The tent is located in Costa Mesa CA at my friends house (he wanted to borrow it for a Death Valley trip we did) and I live in Temecula CA. I am willing to discuss delivery, but I am not willing to ship it. I just don't have time to pack it and arrange shipping. It would actually help me out if you picked it up as my truck will be in the shop for the next couple months getting upgrades.

Asking $1500 obo. Send me a PM and we can discuss - Alex

I don't have the thread handy... but it was a three year old post, claiming he had make six and he would not be making anymore. I didn't bother to message him...

Its not hard to make. Its just a block of aluminum billet. He drilled and tapped two holes in the bottom so you can bolt it to the tent. Then he cut some slots for the ladder and drilled another hole lengthwise to run the pin through. The pin is just a zinc coated catch pin, should be easy to find. He did take some time to round the corners of the block and sand it smooth.

If you dont have the tools, any metal fabricator can do this cheap. I imagine it would only take him an hour to do both
