It has a small dent near the roof line on the rear driver side from an unfortunate incident with a tree branch. I never fixed it because a) most people would never notice it and b) I think it gives it some character.

The capacitive overlay on the touchscreen also appears like it needs to be replaced soon. Sometimes it works fine and sometimes it registers touches an inch or two to the right of where you’re actually touching. It hasn’t bothered me enough to get me to replace it yet.

The secondary air injection system failed shortly after I purchased the truck and I installed a bypass module rather than repairing it. You can read more about that here if you’re interested: https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/06-07-air-induction-pump-failure-bypass.814912/

You can read my build thread here although it’s not up to date: https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/texascrane-build-thread.885390/ . Among a few other things, the drawers have been added along with removing the original aux audio unit and replacing it with a USB audio-in that would work with my iPhone.

I hve a complete maintenance log for the past 60k miles, since I purchased the vehicle from a Lexus dealership in 2014.
