I have a CVT Mt Rainier Pioneer Extended with Annex of course. Huge tent! I have slept in it probably 20 nights or so, but have never once set up the Annex. I have only ever unfolded it once when new and is has stayed packed since. I got the tent with the intention of my family enjoying it with me, but life takes side roads some times. The canvas has absolutely no tears or scuffs or anything. It has only been set up a half dozen times. Bottom line is it is too big for me as I am solo now, and I absolutely never use the Annex, so the overhang is a waste for me as well. CVT has the tent listed at $2195 plus S&H etc. I prefer to trade it for an equal condition and equal quality tent that is smaller, but I will sell it for $1400.00.

If I can get a trade on a tent I like I am willing to drive pretty much anywhere to make the trade.

As for pictures... I am trying to post them from my phone but I keep getting a message that they are too big. I can always sent pics via email or text them. The tent seriously is in great condition. It is just not a fit for me any longer.

This method of screenshot posting is not very efficient. If anyone can walk me through how to post these pics right from my phone without posting a screenshot of my own stinking pictures, I would truely appreciate it!

It might be helpful to post where you're at in case someone is close to you. I have a Gordigear Explorer Plus with Annex that's less than a year old. The annex was used for 3 days at ExPo West last month but that was it. Tent has about 10 days in it and is located in Central TX.

Oh yeah! That is a good point . I am currently near Bowling Green KY. I will be heading back to Arizona in about two weeks, so anywhere along the way would be ok to travel to.
I have worked Overland Expo West a few times over the years. This is the first time I have ever seen it in such a um, commercial place. I did not attend this year of course, but strangely 3 nights ago I met up with a traveler from NC who was on his way back from OE West. It was great to connect with like minded people again!

If you don’t sell before you get back to AZ, let me know. I’m looking for a bit smaller one too, like a Tepui Kukenam, but might be swayed into the larger model.

It is not a bad tent at all. I just don't ever use the Annex,(which I always thought would make life so much easier) and the thing is huge for one person. In the end I would save on fuel and over all cargo capacity, so it makes sense to me to downsize. I am not at all opposed to selling it...so I can buy something else, but a good trade is more convenient. Ya know?

Surely there must be a family out there who this would serve well. Three up top and one in the Annex and still plenty of room to move!

We are a family of four do you think this would sleep two adults and two kids comfortably. Been looking at the 4+ tents but im not sure we need one that big.

Very easily! Three adults up top is still comfortable and one down in the Annex will allow room to move arround comfortably.
