That's a pretty decent price on those wildland engines, especially considering what they cost new...
From an overlanding point of view, the two '04s are a valuable find for having no ULSD requirement, thus allowing worldwide travel. The cabs are tighter, though, than the new design.

But the highest and best use is almost certainly for wildland fire-fighting. Given the drought over most of the West, I suspect there'll be money to be made this summer with this equipment.

@mhiscox: I don't know what the current rates for Type 6's are these days, but I'll bet it's pretty high. The way things are going, fire season will last all year in CA...

I believe these are scams....they have popped up in the past in Colorado, and have been talked about before here.
