Here is a list of daily nets that serve a number of different purposes but may be of some service to overlanders in need of assistance.

First is a list of nets that serve the maritime travelers:
The Intercon Net 14.300 (20m) 11:00-15:00 UTC (7am-12noon ET)
Maritime Mobile Service Net 14.300 (20m) 16:00-01:00 UTC
Pacific Seafarers Net 14.300 (20m) 3:00-4:30 UTC

Essentially, you have nearly "round-the-clock" (18 hrs) monitoring and active nets on this 20m frequency (14.300). The Intercon and MMSN will take all check-ins whether maritime or not, from anywhere in the world. The Pacific Seafarers Net tries to stick to taking check-ins from Pacific Ocean mariners and relay stations only. These nets will take all manner of emergency traffic and the operators are well versed in global navigation and have the tools to pinpoint you, if you know your coordinates.

Some additional daily nets worth knowing:
Health and Welfare Net (ARC) 7.250 (40m) Mon.- Fri. 8:30 AM PT (Hosted by Gordon West WB6NOA)
ANZA DX Net 14.183 (20m) Daily 5:15 UTC (10:15 PM PDT)

Triple H DX Net 7.190 (40m) Daily 7:00 UTC (Midnite PDT)
