Some rope that I was given..

So I have acquired about 50 feet of 2" rope that was no longer considered OK for its original intention of securing the big 7.5" ropes that anchor off shore oil rigs. It has no ends on it, so I'm taking a crash course in eye splicing. This stuff is supposedly rated at about 150 tons (300,000 lbs:Wow1. It takes up quite a bit of room and I think I'm going to need bigger shackles.. Not really sure what else to do with it though.

Its hollow braid.. possibly made by bridon but not 100% sure on that. White nylon with a pink marker. Don't think I'll be making a living splicing rope though.. its not very pretty.

Sorry Axel, not going to part ways with any of this stuff quite yet.
