The time has come... I'm not racing anymore and this bike has been sitting in the garage, untouched, for almost a year. I took my 18-year-old Stumpjumper M2 out for a short ride last weekend and rediscovered mountain biking. So, it's time to sell this gorgeous machine and pick up a 29er and a mountain bike for the wife. This frame (different wheels) carried me to a sub-6 hour bike split in Ironman Florida. I weighed in at 220 for that race. If this bike can make my fat *** fast, imagine what it can do for you!
Getting into triathlons can be expensive. Trust me, I know. Let me save you some coin so you can turn around and put it toward entry fees and carb gels. So, really, I'm just being an enabler. Funny...the guys at the bar call me that, too. (How do you think I got to weigh 220?)
I understand that this isn't a traditional adventure bike, but an Ironman is certainly an adventure - albeit one that happens during a single day.

Zipp 606 Clincher wheelset - $1400.
The 606 clincher fills a void in the road racing and triathlon market that is begging for a draft legal wheelset that is practically as fast as a 909.
The 606 rear is as fast as a disc in most situations. The 606 front has a dimpled surface that slices through air so fast you won’t believe it. The icing on the cake is that is comes in a convenient clincher package.
404 front wheel combined with 808 rear
ABLC dimpling treatment to both front and rear rims
Aluminum clincher rim is bonded to a carbon structural rim with our revolutionary m2cm process.
VCLC technology provide a smooth, comfortable, controlled ride allowing you to put in your fastest times to date
