Can anyone confirm that 39" is the correct measurement for spring centers on a 416/CDN101? I'm asking because I'm considering adding brakes to my trailer and it has a perfectly good, almost new Dexter 3500 pound axle but no flanges for bolting on brakes. In eyeballing up parts, it's just about as cheap to buy a whole new axle as it would be to get brakes, drums, flags, and have those welded on, so I was considering selling the current idler axle. Thanks.
