Hi I have a trailer I built its made from 2in Square tubing and 1in square tubing.
The RTT is a Tepui Expedition and its attached straight to the top. I bought some nice angle brackets to give it some lift off of the trailer (about 9 inches).
I dragged the trailer and tent from Texas to Maine behind my 4Runner and it did wonderful.
Would 1 in .120 square tubing be strong enough to support the tent and be strong enough to keep it from flying off? The length of the tubing will be around 5 ft long and the tent will be attached in 4 places on 2 pieces of tubing.
Thanks
