Did you do a spring over as well as the new tires/wheels?

My trailer has a torsion axle, so for the lift we welded some 1/4" plate to the mounting flanges, lifting it about 7 1/2 inches over stock.

A spring over would have been nice to do, I bet leafs would have more travel than this old torsion axle. Although, on our last trip out, the trailer did good yet again with the wide tires. Starting to see the affects of vibration inside though; the galley is rubbing the floor, and I'm starting to see some panels moving. Just use it, fix it, use it, and fix it!

I got the Yamaha on the "rack" this evening:

The bike is pretty light, but starting with a 90 pound tongue weight and adding say 150 is a bit much. The water tank is in the rear, so if I use that, that can offset the weight a bit. The rack not only interferes with the propane tank, but also with the bed supports. So, it will have to be removed once on site; not a big deal as I carry tools everywhere anyway. I guess the next thing to do is hitch it up and see how it works.
