Our much loved 2000 Ford F350 and Bigfoot Camper (and HOME of 4 years) were stolen 3 weekends ago near the Denver, CO Airport. We're offering a significant reward ($1500) to anyone who can give us information leading to its return and even more ($5000) if the truck is found in good shape.
The photos show which details make this truck camper combo unique. Our NV license plate is 290-LXE. Please keep your eyes out for our rig!
A word to the wise: We parked in a paid airport hotel parking lot and when we returned from our vacation---the truck was gone. We should have parked at the airport long term parking instead. They have security cameras, 24 hour security staff, lots of people milling about at all hours and tightened security in general. And if I could do it over again, I'd have installed a $150 GPS tracking device, put in a fuel cutoff switch, and used "The Club" or something similar to lock the steering wheel. AAA offers insurance to cover the cost of your belongings inside the vehicle. The Ravelco anti-theft product looks intriguing.
