Storage Ideas for the Jeep Unlimited

I have been very interested in finding some useful ways to store overland equipment. I would like to see some ideas about using the negative space.

What I will be doing until my fiance and I start popping out kids I will be removing the rear seat when we go camping. I either want to do the JK Habitat hard top replacment tent, or a rooftop tent. I do want to replace the two rear side windows in the hard top with the rotopax window mounts. After that I am not sure how I want to pack up the Jeep. I am just trying to get some ideas.

Hi

I got the Front runner interior rack. It is easier to pack up to the roof and when Iam sleeping in the vehicle I can put up the stuff on the shelf and on the front seats.

I am happy with the trailgater table for cooking and such

I really like the ultra small and light Helinox chairs

It goes about 3 Helinox chair on one small normal camping chair.

I have seen some good setups offered by JK Habitat. They are drawers and then a fridge pull out. but its very pricey and makes me want to attempt to build my own. Ill need water storage and Ill have to make some sort of shower option when the fiance goes with me.

Thanks, they look really good. Do you think they're durable enough to last years and years of daily use, or are they "lightweight backpacking gear" that tends to break or wear-out quickly under constant use?

Thanks,
-Dan

I built this shelf for the back of my '05 LJ. It cost me about $40 for the plywood, screws, and stain.

It works well for me.

One thing I know is that they are expensive but seems to have very high quality. If I go camping with 4 adults, my goal is to bring small and light stuff so I dont need a roofrack or trailer etc.

I can put 4 helinox chairs under the rear back seat and and some Helinox table or a REI small alu table and a lot more.

The Helinox are comfortable

See it in 1080p helinox chairs and Front runner interior rack etc
