I have been waiting to wear out the 33x12.5 Procomps MTs that came with the truck when I bought it. I wanted to go down to a 10.5 tire. After having a series of issues with procomps lug nuts, (also on the truck when I bough it) specifically thier lug nut keys . I have had no less then five crack on my when attempting to remove my wheels. Often leaving my truck stranded in my garage till they can ship me a new key, which more than once the new one broke right way too.
Long story short. I had no warranty on the tires. One cuppled and cant be balanced. On has a small side wall leak that cant be fixed, and this week a third had the tread sepperate from the tire. Plus I broke another key trying to remove the sepperated tread tire.
Finally someone at procomp decided to compensate me for all my trouble and they are sending me 3 new 33x12.5 MTs when I had no warranty.
Right now I have 10" wheels. If I mounted 12.5 mts on stock cruiser wheels how much of a difference would it be over 10.5 wheels? Enough to notice power and mpg wise?
