Suggestions for a LowProfile bars/Rack on a Tonneau

I've got an 5.5' truck bed with hard tonneau and I'd like to mount a rack too. I'd like it to be as low profile as possible.


Any suggestions?


This is the only low profile setup I could find searching this site. I'm not sure what he used.

I've been toying with the idea of just building a custom 2 tier Carbon fiber tube rack mounted directly to the tonneau cover but I'd much rather buy, than fab something. reinventing the wheel, so to speak.

I have been making racks for shells/toppers on tacomas with both 5' and 6' beds. They could easily be installed on a hard tonneau by directly bolting it or mounting it to thule/yakima tracks, I just haven't had anyone want to do it yet. I will eventually be putting one on my trailer lid.

sweet. Should I request a quote through your site or would you give me a price here? 5' would be perfect. I'd prefer to be on the smaller like on the Tacoma to help fight drag. (It's going on an 01 F150 4 door.)
