with the cap i couldn't give away & a 3 sheet plywood platform with street recovery gear, fire x & first aid kit, i figure my load w/ driver & fluids is about 800#. regardless of the number, my springs are flat. i'm not wheeling harder than 6" of snow on the street or dirt road and an occasional fire road just to keep the 4 wd lubricated & moving. so basically it's a street vehicle.
anyone had a positive experience after installing Sumosprings (black ones)? i've been told i am dealing with "static load" since the truck is set this way & it's a daily driver.
my next vehicle in a couple of years will be a subaru, honda, or toyota - model will be the brand's mid-sized SUV, so you can see the direction i'm headed. all vehicles, present & future, May end up transporting a kayak next season. the perfect scenario would be racked, but a trailer is not out of the realm.
thx
