Beautiful, 1977 version of Ranger. Lots of OEM touches.

This is a 1077 Ford F250 Trailer towing special. Although not rare you do not see these every day. These were equipped with towing brakes, double caliper front disc brakes, wiring for towing. Dual exhaust and the 3.54 Dana Spicer rear end with limited slip axel. The 3.54 combined with dual exhaust gives this much better fuel economy then those equipped with 3.73 and 4.11 gears. I am actually the second owner and purchased this from the location it was stored for 10 years. I had the front tank, all fuel lines cleaned, had the carburator rebuilt, installed a new fuel pump and battery and it started within 20 seconds, has been running beautifully ever since. I don't see any leaks, oil, coolant or transmission. The truck is mostly original with the exception of paint which was just completed. It is not a show quality paint, but is a decent quality daily driver. As you can see by the photos all trim chrome and aluminum is in tact and dent free. You will also notice the bed is very close to pristine as the original owner never really used this for a truck he only hauled some items to a camp in Mexico over a piece of plywood. This also has a heavy duty radiator and transmission cooler as part of the trailer towing special. All glass is good with the exception of a few chips (small) on the windshield. This truck has the original tear free vinal seats, original blue carpet and blue mats. I did have a new OEM blue vinal dash installed. This was $400.00 and is identical to what the factory produced. Notice one picture of a tire, all are the same very good tread life. I also just installed new OEM dog dish hubcaps. A new steering wheel was installed from a 1978 Bronco, this was NOS stock. I have not hooked up horn, blinkers and cruise control. I will leave that to the next owner. I do have the original steering wheel and wiring attached, it may be helpful. This is a head turning truck, what I would call a very very good daily driver as it goes down the road smooth and straight. There is a small exhaust leak on driver side exhaust manifold. As the engine gets warmer it is very difficult to hear. Please call with any questions. Mark 760-672-2700
