There is a discussion on another forum regarding the possible development of a Transfer Fuel Tank for Tacomas.
The company considering this is Transfer Flow, Inc.

I have monitored with great interest both the Custom 35 Gallon Gas Tank thread and the Outback Proven Long Range thread, each seem to have its pros and cons. My interest is not only extending my range while traveling. I also want the ability to fuel multiple vehicles (lawn mower, four wheeler, buddies truck) from my fuel reserve. The idea of a 15-20 gallon DOT legal and safe way to carry additional fuel; that also doesn’t take up to much room in my space-limited 5ft bed is very attractive.
Save me from my current “hinkey” way of carrying additional fuel.
Anyone have similar thoughts?
