Just throwing out a feeler for an 11 pack of Deaver Spring Pack off my '01 Tacoma. Springs are very flexy, and are very close to needing to get re-arched. They were last serviced 25k miles ago. Spring swap is going to happen in the next few weeks once the new ones arrive. Will be asking $300 obo, and willing to ship on your dime. Located in East Mesa, AZ. Let me know if your interested.

UPDATE: SOLD

Hey Will. Do you know what re-arching cost? What other modifications are needed for these springs? Longer rear smooth bodies from the looks of your pictures. Great looking truck!

Last time I had them serviced, they were ok and did not need to be re-arched, they did replace some of the connectors that had broken, and retaining clips. Last time they were re-arched it was about $30 to $35 per spring IIRC, and had them done at our local spring shop.

Might be interested. Any chance you'll be in Yuma between now and March 13th? I'll be there for the weekend.

Sorry man, I am not planning on heading West anytime soon, and the springs are still on the truck. I would guess that the new springs will be here around the 9th or 10th.

......Did you actually make it all the way up Escalator?
If yes - are you locked up front?

Hijack on.

In a long-wheelbase Escalator can be done open-open, a locker makes it all that much more doable, dual lockers just get you into that much more trouble :D

Hijack off.

Wil, what springs are you going with now?

Yup, had to winch after that obstacle, as I got hung up on the rear bumper, and did not have any tires touching but 1 tire.

Trying out a set of Dakar's, I'm hoping that they will work out with all the weight.

I have a few friends up here with the Dakar's on their Tacoma's. They flex well and actually do hold up to the weight, after they break in you might need a helper spring but maybe not.

They need a helper even with the double over-load? I just picked up a set of Dakars, OME shocks, etc and have yet to install. We'll see how it goes...

After installing my new Dakar springs I was disappointed that they were riding on the overload, so the first thing I did was put an AAL on. Now its great with all the stuff I have in my truck. Just hope it stays that way...
