Tacoma valet key?

I recently brought my land cruiser to the dealer to check for a problem, and then a few days after I get it back, I find a medicine container in my mailbox with a key in it and a flyer for our local toyota dealer. It was not mailed, someone must have put it in my mailbox directly and not through the postal service. It is a toyota key, says valet and has "ignition" written on the metal part of the key. It does not work in the land cruiser, and the only explanation I could think of is that the previous owner also had a first gen tacoma, and that he possibly left the valet key for that somewhere in the land cruiser. I will post a picture of the key soon, but does anyone have a tacoma valet key that sounds similar? Or any other ideas?

That doesn't look like a factory Toyota key to me, maybe a duplicate that was made??

I certainly could be wrong. ,i have had a bunch of Toyotas over the years the rubber was thicker and rounder, the valet was grey, the rest were black. I can't remember the 80s too well :)

My dealer did that as part of a promotion... Come in, see if your key starts the car, win the car... It took me a while to figure out what was going on!
