Finally I am done with this thing and everything worked out great. I did a thorough go through on the winch all connections and little bit of sealing for water, after all it is a Smitty bilt:Wow1:

Looks good, did you design the winch mount yourself? Won't that extra bracket just flex when the winch is pulling? Doesn't seem like it'll provide much extra bracing to the frame. Not criticizing, just collaborating. :) I'm very jealous, as I really like the idea of a factory appearance with a winch.

Perhaps the extra bracket is to keep the entire thing from ripping off his bumper if it where to come loose. Although if the mount comes away from the frame, and you are under load it may not save you.
I really like the relocated control box and plug in the grill. I'm getting ready to mount the same winch in a 07 Xterra and may do something similar to this.

I just used some RTV silicone stuff, check you connectors for the plug in the control box.
Perhaps the extra bracket is to keep the entire thing from ripping off his bumper
:(
