Tactical Ladder Entertainment

A small 13' version of the Little Giant ladder is available and sold as a tactical ladder. A buddy has the full size and besides being a big heavy tool seemed good. They make huge ones for aircraft and even have an extreme version with handy accessories. I thought the small light tactical one may be of use here for getting into roof top tents, racks, work on large rigs or (fill in the blank). I found youTube vids but have you ever used one?

It's a Little Giant anodized black. I have the smaller one and is very stable & rugged but still heavy. No way around that with a ladder.

I had a regular Little Giant ladder from Costco for a few days. It was priced well and made in USA was a plus. But... I took it back after playing with it for a day. Too inconvenient for its reach compared to a simple extension ladder. For low heights a stepladder would be a lot easier and not much difference in compactness.

'Course, it might not be that easy to find a black anodized stepladder...

I have a 4 step Little Giant that sits behind the bike rack on my camper. Fully up I can get on the roof, half way up I can clean the windows and swap the gas bottle. £99 at a UK Costco, not black though. It could be lighter, the step ladder I had was, but nowhere near as useful :) Also used to break into a fellow campers truck when the towel clad couple went to shower but left the keys inside

I have a 17' Little Giant that I bought when I bought my home. I have been using it as my only ladder for almost 8 years and love it. Of course I bought it from a TV ad back then, and paid a pretty penny, you can now get knockoff brands at Home Depot for much less.

I am still happy with the purchase though, and use it all of the time.
