I have a 2011 tear drop style trailer camper for sale. It is the Backpacker model and is manufactured by Three Feathers Manufacturing in LaGrande Oregon. I am the second owner and I consider it to be in excellent condition.
Let me tell you a little bit about the unit:
- The interior is carpeted with cabinets on the rear bulkhead. These cabinets provide lots of storage. The footprint of the interior is the size of a queen sized bed. There is a large window (also an emergency exit) that opens and has blinds on one side of the trailer with a window in the door on the other. There is a vent with a fan in the ceiling. Because of its boxy shape there is a lot of headroom and lacks that claustrophobic feeling of traditional teardrops.
- The rear of the unit opens up into a galley with a sink, pump faucet, lots of storage, and a shelf attached to the door (there’s also a removable shelf that attaches to the door-side exterior while at camp).
- The unit has full size tires with a spare, a battery that runs the lights (interior and exterior). There is an electric and water hook up. It also has a rack on the top.
-The weight of the unit is 1100 pounds and I can easily pull it with my Ford Escape. Bonus: it is under the weight requirement for license plates.
- The overall length is 12 ft and is easily stored in my garage avoiding paying monthly storage fees. (This also works out well when there is an abundance of company as it acts as an additional guest bedroom!)
Here is the website for Three Feathers Manufacturing: http://www.3feathersmfg.com/
They no longer make my model but you can get a general idea by looking at the Backpacker 2 trailer on their website.
I am asking $7000.00 and am firm on the price. Camper is located in Bend Oregon. If you are interested please contact me: 616.788.0107 farrellk@wou.edu
Thanks and happy camping!
