I have a 1997 Land Cruiser and have a leak ( kooks to be oil or trans fluid) under the radiator on the left hand side. Can anyone help with a fix? Thanks in advance.

I have a CSF radiator like in this link in my 4Runner. I was trying to get you a pic, but it's a bad pic.

So you should have a built in tranny cooler in the bottom of your radiator. If it's tranny fluid leaking, the color would be more on the red side.

I would start by trying to tighten the two clamps on the two small tranny hoses that enter and exit the bottom of the radiator.

Here is the drivers side. See small tranny fluid hose just to the right of the radiator hose. I just had a new (free/warranty) radiator installed at my engine rebuilders. Their mech. messed up my radiator outlet by putting the hose clamp on wrong! So I've been under my truck dealing with leaks also. I hate that!

You can also have a leak (if it is oil) under the timing cover on the 1FZ. As mentioned, search on ih8mud.com in the 80 series section.
