I noticed that a lot of folks carry a ladder of some form in their rig to get to the roof. On the LMTV it's common to add a ladder to get to the roof of the cab. I was thinking it would be clever to mount a telescoping ladder in place of the fixed ladder. Then telescope the first couple of steps to extend to the roof. If you ever need to use the ladder somewhere else you could dismount it.
