Thanks for the info. I asked the builder about parasitic draw and possibly using a large inverter to run the major items and a small inverter to run the phone chargers, lights, fans etc. It is a Samlex Evo 3012.
His reply
"This new series of high efficient inverters have a power save function where on standby they draw 0.6 amps. The inverter will stay in this mode until you turn something on, then it will only draw power in proportion to what it is putting out.
