Please post good bad it all helps .I been procrastinating on my clamshell tent made with Modular fiberglass component .After reading rayra post http://www.expeditionportal.com/forum/threads/135824-Silnylon-vehicle-awning-ideas-for-a-lightweight-compact-flexible-design.It's time get off my ***. Starting to get every thing ready . This tent will go on a trailer I'm building The real Military Style M 100 M 416 fiberglass trailer kit. .A few things to get me started

Today got some bad news .The Modular fiberglass components I was planing to use as the bottom of the clamshell tent corners won't be ready for at lest 100 days..
After many attacks on there Customer and fake marketing by others . There going to make more molds for Modular fiberglass components to have more looks in there teardrop, box trailers line will be first . So will do the trailer lid with shorter canvas for tilt-up tent . After the corners be come available will remove canvas . add 12 inch on the side panels. then build a clamshell tent .

got news. Will have all the parts I need in two weeks and even the better looking front panel.
When doing the top with the real Modular fiberglass components I was ask where the hinges would go on the trailer cover? I ask from to be in the front .found out more layers are added to the one piece of real Modular fiberglass component where the hings go.. so had to sand down the ends a little .I was so prod I made the pattern for the tents sides in the wind using wall paper but that was when the trailer lid was going to be the top of the tent .So back to a full side clamshell tent . At this time IN one picture you can see part of the tailgate.
