I always love your videos! Quick. Question. Do these beefed up 30s come JK bracketry ready only or do they come XJ or other vehicle ready as well?
Ok I have some questions. I was planning on going the route of a built prorock pr44. Now until I can afford that I was planning on running 37x13.55 nitto mud grapplers on my completely stock 2012 JKU. I was hoping to run this setup carefully for about 2 years then upgrade. Since I know a big failure point on the 30s is the pinion size, I wasn't planning on going too extreme probably the highest I would run is 4:88. I don't think I need anymore on the 2012s. I would like to go with the wider nitto mud grapplers later with the 38x 15.50. Would this housing be able to support this kind of weight or would I still want to go with a 44 housing.
I go on maybe 4-5 wheeling trips a year where I do rock crawl but I never really push too hard since I have to drive my JKU home up to 5 hours. Mostly the stuff I'm on is back country wheeling and beach. Also if its too much with 38s would it do ok with the 37s. I'm really trying to do this only once but I'm not made of money so I don't want to overbuild. Also just a note I'm a sensible driver so I'm not hard on the skinny pedal. I'd rather ease over obstacles than jump over them.

Sure you can, just make sure you carry extra everything with you. I would not run anything bigger then 35's on a D30. They only thing different between the D30 and D44 are the ring and pinion size.
