I'm about to install a 3" Terrafirma lift with the prosport shocks. I was feeling quite confident about my choice in shocks/springs until I read the "Disco I shocks" thread. So I was hoping to see how long Terrafirma shocks/springs have lasted on everyone's rigs. Thanks in advance!

I have some TerraFirmas on the rear of my Disco 2. The shock is fine, its still working great. but the "paint" is falling off already. I've only had them on for about two months. Its only snowed once and the road has only been salted once since I installed them. kind of annoying. I have some black spray paint.
The Bilstiens I have up front are 5 years old now. 5100's I believe. The paint has not come off at all on those.

I've had ProSport shocks on my D1 for 2.5 years now with no problems.
I had to throw 2 of my prosports out after about a year, and all of my all terrains were shot before that, about a year and a half or so of use. I'll never put another terrafirma shock on either of my rovers. I'm tired of dealing with warranty issues with them, too.
Their springs aren't bad though.
