I took a quick trip to Telluride before school gets back in session for me. Here some of the photos. If you haven't been I highly recommend that part of the country. There is so much to do within a few miles of the camp site.

Also, check out the blog post my fellow photographer and friend wrote. Danielrouth.com

Cool pictures! Where did you camp at?

Thanks! Alta Lakes is the place to camp near telluride. I googled camping in telluride and the first one on the list said 'camp at 11,000 feet' and I didnt have to look any further. It is primitive but has a reliable mountain spring right in the middle. We bring our water purifiers and are good to go. There is a campground right in the valley in telluride too. I have never been there but might give it a try next time.

Looks awesome! My wife and I did a SW CO trip this summer and spent a few days in Telluride, so a few of those pics look familiar. Beautiful area, Im lucky to have it within a few hours of me, I just need to take advantage of it more often.

And, Nice 4Runner, I have a 4th gen as well, and we took it from Telluride over Imogene Pass into Ouray for a few days as well. Great wheeling and sightseeing in that area, Im a photographer myself so it was am amazing photo trip for me :)

SW CO is one of my favorite places in the country. I have been there 3 times in 2 years and keep finding more cool things to do. I wish I lived that close! It is a solid 15 hours from here.
