The Best Hi-Lift Accessory - JackMate

Thanks for the welcome, Tom.

The three bumps were put on the JackMate to match the Lifting Nose design of the Jack-All jack which Maasdam was marketing at the time. The problem with it is that, top to top, the "bumps" made a flat surface without a lip to contain the load. Consequently a flat surface such as a rocker panel, flat bottomed bumper, etc. would slip off the bumps much easier than a Lift Nose / JackMate load plate with a raised lip at the outer end. I am very happy the new JackMate has the more secure load plate and the bumps are history!

Thanks for printing that beer getting opened. Rescue 42 is in Chico, CA. We are currently famous for four things you might recognize:

1) JackMates (Well...)
2) Sierra Nevada Beer
3) Chico State University, which was Playboy Magazines #1 party school for years, and
4) Aaron Rodgers, Quarterback for the Green Bay Packers.

As a side note, if you want to win some money in a bar, mention that you remember when Aaron Rodgers used to play for the Vikings. After everyone tells you what an idiot you are, take their bets. Because...

Aaron Rodgers went to Pleasant Valley High School in Chico, Ca.
He was the (surprise) quarterback on the football team
The PV High football team is...

The Vikings!

Be safe,

Tim

Okay, I have to ask. What is Boxing Day? I see it on calendars but it's not something that we celebrate in the U.S.

The name derives from the English tradition giving seasonal gifts (in the form of a "Christmas box") to less wealthy people. In the United Kingdom this was later extended to various workpeople such as labourers, servants, tradespeople and postal workers.

In some countries (Australia, Canada, New Zealand, United Kingdom) Boxing Day is primarily known as a shopping holiday. It is a time where shops have sales, often with dramatic price decreases. For many merchants, Boxing Day has become the day of the year with the greatest revenue

It's about the same idea as you guys have Black Friday in US.

I have owned 2 Hi-lift brand jacks and 1 Harbor Freight farm jack. I think the Harbor freight jack is better. It just seems easier to use and more predictable.
I still have an old Hi-lift and it good but the newer one was just to finicky and hard to use. Sorry to hijack but I hate to see folks on a budg et spend almost 100 bucks on an Extream Hi-lift when a $29 harbor freight jack works as good or better in my opinion.
