The coolest saw for $25

I'm not one for camp fires unless the situation is perfect, but I do enough trail maintenance with the International Mountain Bike Association that I'm always looking for a good solution for a portable saw.

My brother in law works for the national park service at Rocky Mountain Nat Park and he said some of the rangers carry these:

I just used mine for the first time. IT RULES!!!!!! Just wanted to share in a good product.

I carry a buck saw in my Horizon trailer, but it's not a takedown saw like that.
Most excellent!
I've used a buck saw for cutting big mesquite logs, back in the days before I could afford a chain saw.
They cut great!

Nice find... :victory:

I bought one of those from Lee Valley a few years ago and always carry it in the truck, has saved the day a few times and can cut a six inch limb in seconds, Great saw:iagree:

GP Knives now has the saw listed as out-of-stock, but I bought what I think is the same thing at:

for $22.40 pre-shipping.

Never dealt with the company before, so I'm not making a recommendation, but I expect all will be well.

I've got three-piect (triangular) folding saw like that that has a wood blade and a bone blade that I got when I tried my hand at bowhunting a few years ago.

Haven't had much opportunity to use it, though...

I have had one for years and it is one of my "must carry" tools. It almost never is taken out of my truck. Saved my butt many a time.
