It is so rediculous that we cant these trucks here. that truck blows away the XV-JP...
Let me ask differently: when will Extec or another European company show us in the US on how to expedition-set-up a JK? IMHO, having owned both, the JK Unlimited is almost as good of a base as the Defender.

I think I saw a pic of that truck at Overland Expo with its new owner on US plates. So someone took them up on the 44900 Euro offer.

Really??? Why???

Aside from the motor in the new JK's, wich you can now get a Diesel swaped into very easily, I don't see how that is "better" then an XV-JP in any way. I know it didn't come with lockers from the factory. The XV-JP's interior I think, is VERY well laid out, and there are alot of smart usefull ideas in those trucks. The only issue I can see with the XV is that it's probably less suited to colder climates because of how exposed the upper tent is, but still because of that it has ALOT mre space and light in there.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE this truck (although I think I like the second rigs top design more, it looks like it has more useable stand-up room), but I just don't agree with the above statement. I do agree that it's lame that we don't have access to alot of these "world rigs" let alone just DIESEL'S in general!!!!! Plus, to me, living in Australia and not owning a 75 Series Troupy is just wrong... WRONG I TELL YA!!! ;)

Cheers

I like the Jeeps as well, my first 4x4 was a 1953 Jeep, but the Defender is in a class of its own when you need payload.
