The future of JPFreek Magazine is here!

JPFreek Adventure Magazine has just released a brand-new, first of its kind for Jeep publications, Flash flipbook version of its magazine. Nobody else in the Jeep realm has offered this before, and we are proud of how it has turned out and the functionality it will have going forward. You'll now be able to read JPFreek Adventure Magazine on any digital media that has Flash capability: laptop, desktop, iPhone (later this Spring), etc. The opportunities are endless!

So, check out the NEW JPFreek Adventure Magazine format at www.jpfreek.com. Also, if you've got a cool story or photos to share, send them on over to:

editor@jpfreek.com

We may feature them in a future issue of JPFreek Adventure Magazine. Thanks, take care and happy Jeepin'!

I appreciate your efforts in upgrading the mag, but on my little ole laptop with the 14" screen the flip pages are awful small and fooling with the magnification is more trouble than its worth. Fortunately you still provide the .pdf that has its own problems but I find easier to manipulate.

Actually, I had that problem the first time I used it as well. You can correct it though by going to the top toolbar and going into the "Options" tab, then change the zoom ratio so that you can zoom in on text and more easily read it on a smaller screen. It's not perfect but there are so many new capabilities we will have with the format. And yes, the PDF will still be available for download in case anyone wants to have a copy to save/print/etc.

Thanks for your feedback!

Richard might want to design the future flip books with larger fonts maybe, or "wide screen" layout?

I love how you can browse through it like a magazine on your lap.

We got upgraded here at work to Dell widescreen monitors, I want to say about 20" (it does 1680x1050, for whatever that's worth). It seems pretty similar to our 20" iMac at home (dare I say this 1 month old Dell is close to as good as our 4 year old iMac, even if Windoze XP looks like the Wicked Witch of the West against OS X). Any-who, I really like the flip book format better than the PDF. First time I've seen an electronic magazine that I would call a suitable replacement for a paper version. I still prefer the real thing, but JPFreek is pretty decent.

Thanks Dave, your support and compliments are much appreciated.

Mark, good suggestion on font size/wide screen formatting. I'll talk to Richard and see if that is something easily corrected for when the PDF is converted to Flash.

Thanks to everyone for all your comments about our new format. We're definitely excited about the direction of our magazine, and it couldn't have been done without the support of everyone here at ExPo. Thanks!

Awesome publication. Your layouts blow away the conventional wheeling mags. Just goes to show you don't need a huge conglomerate to produce a quality read.
