Good buddy of mine just went over Ophir Pass in Colorado without issue. Toyota Echo w/ lowering sport springs, 300,000 miles, and a 5spd......in the rain:bike_rider:

When you travel in Central and South America, you see lots of small cars being used to travel on marginal roads. The fully kitted ExPo rigs are driven by the wealthy tourists.
