The Maze and GCNRA

I had great plans for a trip of epic proportions for my fall break, however my plans did not materialize. I ended up changing my location to the Maze District of Canyonlands National Park. I then cut my trip short by a full 24 hours to accommodate my company's time off. Which, at the end of two days I could have done without. I would have enjoyed being out there with just my son. However all changes and company aside it was amazing scenery, the truck did well, and now I will take the whole famn damily out there to spend some time. It is just not that far from home. I think it took us just under 2 hours from my house to the Han's Flat Ranger Station. Here are a few pics I took. I also realized that I really need to think about doing a better job with my photography.

A Few More Pics.

I did not mention in my first post that we ate well, so...we ate well. You can see by the shot of dinner. Surf 'n' Turf is really good out in the middle of nowhere. Also some shots of the view we enjoyed from the Hite overlook. Quite amazing country that needs more time.
